How to: Set default format for Nonbody/Title text objects.
Solution:
Use the 'Text Tool' toolbar button, on the 'Drawing' toolbar, to create a text box. Then type and format text in the box.
To set text defaults for new presentations:
1) Select 'New...' from the 'File' menu. (The New Presentation dialog box appears.)
2) Click the 'General' tab.
3) Select the 'Blank Presentation....' Icon.

NOTE 1: The icon will become highlighted when selected.
NOTE 2: Opening this file (Blank Presentation.pot) creates a new presentation.
4) Create a text object using the 'Drawing' toolbar:
a) Click 'Text Tool'(with the 'A' on it) on the 'Drawing' toolbar.

NOTE: If the 'Drawing' toolbar is not visible, select 'Toolbars...' form the 'View' menu, select the 'Drawing' check box, and click 'OK'.
b) Drag the mouse on the screen, and release. (A text box of the desired size is created.)
5) Type a line of text in the created text box.
6) Format the text as desired.
7) Select the entire text object. (Handles appear around the selection box.)

8) Select 'Pick Up Text Style' from the 'Format' menu.
9) Click outside the text box to deselect it.
10) Select 'Apply to Text Defaults' from the 'Format' menu.
11) Delete the created text object:
a) Select the text object. (Handles appear around the selection box.)
b) Select 'Cut' from the 'Edit' menu.
12) Save the file:
a) Select 'Save' from the 'File' menu. (The 'File Save' dialog box appears.)
b) Type the desired name in the 'File name' box.
c) Select the desired location from the 'Save in' drop-down list box.
d) Click 'Save'.
NOTE: To use this particular text format as a default for all new text objects, open this file every time a new presentation is to be used.
